To clear the confusion about her identity, Davinia shared an important point. She said that she never keeps her hair open, while the woman shown in the viral video had open hair. She wondered how people could mistake these two for one.

What happened at the Coldplay concert?
The whole controversy started when tech company Astronomer’s CEO Andy Byrne and his HR head Kristin Cabot appeared on the “Kiss Cam” at Coldplay’s Boston concert. The camera captured the two hugging each other, but as soon as they realized that they were being seen on the big screen, they panicked and immediately separated.

Kristin covered her face with her hands, while Andy bowed his head down. It seemed as if he said, “Hey, that’s me.” In this funny atmosphere, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin commented on the microphone, saying, “Oh, what… Either they are having an affair or they are very shy.”
The video went viral, and then what happened?
After this incident, the video spread rapidly on social media, and people tried to know the identity of these two. In no time, information about Andy Byrne and Kristin Cabot came to light. Andy is the CEO of New York-based data orchestration company Astronomer, while Kristin serves as Chief People Officer in the same company.
After this incident, a statement came out criticizing Coldplay, but it was later revealed that the statement was fake.
Andy Byrne resigns – what did the company say?
The incident had serious consequences. Astronomer officially confirmed over the weekend that Andy Byrne had resigned from his position. The company released a statement on LinkedIn and X (formerly Twitter), saying:
“Our leaders are expected to have high standards in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met. Andy Byrne has tendered his resignation, and the board of directors has accepted it.”
The company also revealed that co-founder Pete DeJoy has been appointed interim CEO until a new permanent CEO is found. Kristin Cabot had only joined the company nine months earlier, raising questions about whether her and Andy’s relationship crossed professional boundaries.
A Viral Video Changed Many Lives
This incident of Andy Byrne viral video not only affected his job, but innocent people like Davinia Taylor also had to face rumors. This case clearly shows how mistaken identities and rumors on social media can affect people’s lives.
