Rashmika Mandanna Shares Concerns About Deepfake After Alia Bhatt
Deep fake technology is the latest concern of Bollywood industries especially for female actresses. Now Animal movie female actress Rashmika Mandanna has speak up on deepfake videos created using AI technology. She spoke while doing Animal promotions and called it ‘scary’. She focused on the need of women to speak out on the matter. Recently a fake video of Rashmika was circulated over the internet. It was created using deepfake Artificial Intelligence Technology.
Alia Bhatt is the recent victim of deepfake. Even Bollywood Actresses Kajol and Katrina Kaif videos have also been created. In a recent interview Rashmika thanked the support she received on this matter. She realised that there is need to raise awareness to this concern.
A video with Alia Bhatt is circulating all over the internet. It is created using a morphed face of Alia Bhatt. As per the video spread on social media, Alia Bhatt edited face is used onto another person sitting on a bed.
The technology is getting advance day by day. On one side it has come with many benefits but, there are many darker sides of it. Deepfake is one of the bad uses of AI Technology. The use of AI to create deepfake videos of celebrities is most common these days. There should be a strict law against such activity. Only then it can stop.
