Hollywood Actress and Singer Selena Gomez video of breaking down in tears has gone viral over the internet after she reacted to US president Donald Trump’s announcement of the deportation of illegal immigrants. Selena shared it through an Instagram post but later she deleted the video. The beautiful actress is dressed in black outfit at home while creating the post.
What Selena Gomes said:
“I just wanted to say that I’m so sorry. All my people are getting attacked. The children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise.”
She also added a Mexican flag in her post. But, the actor later deleted the post when a segment of internet users started to criticize her. One of the users criticized her saying that this is not only about Mexicans and Latinos but the law is for people from all over the world who enter the United States without legal procedure. Even one of the users said her that she is American and advised her to go to Mexico.
After facing backlash for her emotional video, Selena Gomez posted a note on her Instagram Stories to address the criticism. She wrote, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.” However, much like her earlier post, she later deleted this note as well.
All the immigrants are under fear since the newly elected president of the United States has taken charge. He is making hard decisions and deporting the people is one among those decisions. Whereas some people are praising his decisions but many are criticizing it. There has been a sense of fear among all illegal immigrants living in the US.
